Why is the colour slightly different?Updated 15 days ago

Slight colour variation is normal with wigs and does not mean there is an issue with your order.

Hair colour can appear different due to lighting, screen settings, and the natural variation in how wigs are produced.

Why colour may look different in person

There are several common reasons for colour differences:

1. Lighting differences
Product photos are taken in professional lighting.

In real life:

  • Indoor, outdoor, and warm lighting can all change how colour appears
  • The same wig can look slightly different throughout the day

2. Screen and device settings
Colours can vary depending on:

  • Phone or computer screens
  • Brightness and display settings
  • Filters or screen calibration

This means the colour you see online may not be identical in person.

3. Multi-tonal colouring

Our wigs are designed with dimension and depth, not flat colour.

This means:

  • Highlights and lowlights are blended
  • Tones may shift slightly depending on lighting
  • Each piece has a natural variation

4. Handmade and production variation

Especially with custom and human hair wigs:

  • Each wig is produced individually
  • Colour batches may vary slightly
  • No two wigs are 100% identical

What most customers don’t realise

Natural hair is never one flat colour.

Slight variation is what makes a wig look:

  • More realistic
  • Softer and more dimensional
  • Less artificial

What you can expect instead

You can expect:

  • The same overall shade and tone range
  • A natural, blended finish
  • A colour designed to look realistic in real life

Rather than an exact replica of photos.

Our recommendation

If colour is important to you:

Important

Slight colour variation is not considered a fault. We recommend reviewing all product details before purchasing, as we do not offer refunds for differences in colour perception.
