Why is my tracking not updating?Updated 15 days ago
If your tracking has not updated, this is usually normal and does not mean there is an issue with your order.
Tracking updates can take time to appear, especially in the early stages after dispatch.
Why tracking may not update immediately
There are several common reasons your tracking may appear inactive:
1. Carrier processing time
After your order is dispatched, it can take 2–5 business days for the courier to scan and activate tracking in their system.
2. Transit between facilities
Your parcel may be moving between logistics hubs before receiving its first scan, particularly for international shipments.
3. International shipping stages
If your order is shipped from our Milk & Honey International Warehouse, tracking may not update until it reaches your destination country or clears initial processing.
4. Weekend or public holiday delays
Tracking updates may pause during weekends or public holidays, depending on the courier.
What most customers don’t realise
Tracking does not always update in real time.
It’s common for tracking to:
- Show no updates for several days
- Then update suddenly once the parcel reaches the next checkpoint
This is especially common with international shipments.
How long should I wait?
We recommend allowing:
- 2–5 business days after dispatch for tracking to activate
- Slightly longer for international shipments
In most cases, tracking will update within this timeframe.
What you should do
- Wait a few days after receiving your tracking number
- Check again after 48–72 hours
- Monitor for updates as your parcel progresses
When to contact us
If your tracking has not updated after a reasonable period, or your order is significantly delayed beyond expected timeframes, you are welcome to contact us and we will look into it for you.
Important
Tracking updates are controlled by the courier and are outside of our control. Delays in tracking visibility do not indicate that your order has not been shipped and do not qualify for cancellations or refunds.
