We understand that choosing a wig is a very personal decision, and it’s natural to feel unsure when trying something new.
If your wig doesn’t feel quite right at first, there are a few important things to consider before assuming it isn’t suitable.
Why it may feel different at first
It’s very common for a new wig to feel unfamiliar when you first try it on.
This can be due to:
- A different colour or tone than you’re used to
- A new length or density
- The way the wig sits or frames your face
For many customers, it takes a few wears and small adjustments before it feels natural.
Small adjustments can make a big difference
In many cases, the final look comes down to how the wig is worn and styled.
You may find it suits you better after:
- Slightly adjusting the positioning
- Brushing or reshaping the style
- Softening volume or parting
Even minor changes can significantly improve how the wig looks and feels on you.
Setting realistic expectations
We always want to be transparent:
- Wigs may look different in person compared to photos
- The same wig can look different on each individual
- Some styling or adjustment is often needed
This does not mean the wig is incorrect, it simply means it hasn’t yet been personalised to you.
If you’re still unsure
If your wig is completely unused and meets return conditions, you may be eligible to request a return.
To qualify:
- The wig must be unworn
- Lace must be intact and uncut
- The item must be in original condition
- The request must be made within 14 days of delivery
Returns are processed through your Milk & Honey account and are subject to approval.
Important things to understand
- Wigs that have been worn or altered cannot be returned
- Personal preference or styling differences do not qualify as faults
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Returns are only accepted for eligible items that meet all return conditions. Once a wig has been worn or altered, it cannot be returned.
