What if my parcel is delayed?Updated 15 days ago

If your parcel is delayed, this is usually due to courier or transit-related factors and is not uncommon, especially during busy periods or for international deliveries.

In most cases, your order is still on its way and will arrive shortly.

Why delays can happen during shipping

Shipping delays can occur for a number of reasons outside of our control, including:

Courier processing delays
High volumes, especially during peak periods, can slow down delivery times.

Transit between facilities
Parcels may move between multiple hubs before reaching you, which can cause temporary pauses in tracking updates.

International shipping and customs
If your order is shipped from our Milk & Honey International Warehouse, delays can occur due to:

  • Customs clearance
  • International transit processing
  • Local delivery networks

Weather or external disruptions
Unexpected events such as weather conditions or transport disruptions can also impact delivery timelines.

What you should do

If your parcel is delayed:

  • Check your tracking link for the latest updates
  • Allow a few extra business days beyond the estimated timeframe
  • Monitor for movement, as tracking may update in stages

In most cases, parcels continue moving even if updates are delayed.

When to contact us

If your parcel is significantly delayed beyond the expected timeframe, you are welcome to contact us and we will investigate with the courier on your behalf.

Important things to understand

  • Shipping timeframes are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates
  • Delays are handled by the courier and are outside of our control
  • A delay does not mean your parcel is lost

Our honest perspective

We understand delays can be frustrating.

However, once your order has been dispatched, it is in the hands of the courier. We will always assist where possible, but we rely on their network for final delivery.

Important

Shipping delays do not qualify for cancellations or refunds, as the order has already been dispatched and is in transit.
